Freediveshop is very aware of the importance of the right to privacy. To be able to fulfill services to customers Freediveshop does process personal information, but strives to do so in the most safe and secure way possible.

This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from (the “Site”).



When you visit the Site, Freediveshop automatically collects certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device. Additionally, as you browse the Site, information is collected about the individual web pages or products that you view, what websites or search terms referred you to the Site, and information about how you interact with the Site. Freediveshop refers to this automatically-collected information as “Device Information”.

Additionally when you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, certain information is collected from you, including your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information (including credit card numbers, Paypal information or other payment information necessary to process your chosen available payment method), email address, and phone number.  Freediveshop refers to this information as “Order Information.”

When “Personal Information” is mentioned in this Privacy Policy, both Device Information and Order Information is meant.



Freediveshop uses the Order Information that is collected generally to fulfill any orders placed through the Site (including processing your payment information, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations). Additionally, Order Information is used to:

- Communicate with you;

- Screen orders for potential risk or fraud; and

- When in line with the preferences you have shared with Freediveshop, provide you with information or advertising relating to products or services Freediveshop offers.

The Device Information collected (in particular, your IP address) is used to help screen for potential risk and fraud, and more generally to improve and optimize the Site (for example, by generating analytics about how customers browse and interact with the Site, and to assess the success of marketing and advertising campaigns).



Freediveshop shares your Personal Information with third parties to help Freediveshop use your Personal Information, as described above. When you order a print-on-demand product from the Site some of your Personal Information is shared with Prinftul Inc., as they are the partner of choice for such services at the moment. In some cases tailor made (custom) and artisan products are send directly from the location of production. This means that Freediveshop shares the necessary Personal Information with producer, as needed to fulfil the shipping process.

Finally, Freediveshop may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information Freediveshop receives, or to otherwise protect its rights.



Please note that Freediveshop does not alter the Site’s data collection and use practices when it sees a “Do-Not-Track-signal” from your browser.



If you are an European resident, you have the right to access personal information Freediveshop holds about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted. If you would like to exercise this right, please contact Freediveshop through the contact information below.

Additionally, if you are an European resident Freediveshop values to note that your information is processed in order to fulfill contracts Freediveshop might have with you (for example if you make an order through the Site), or otherwise to pursue legitimate business interests as listed above.  Additionally, please note that your information will be transferred outside of Europe, including to Canada and the United States.



When you place an order through the Site, Freediveshop will maintain your Order Information for its records unless and until you ask Freediveshop to delete this information.



Freediveshop may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.
